Christmas doesn't come just once a year!

Christmas is probably my favorite holiday of the year, probably also due to the fact that December also happens to be my birthday month. But Christmas is great because we get to spend time with family and give gifts to those people we love. This year we had four different Christmas celebrations. We started off going to see my side of the family in Austin. We stayed with my sister Carol and I am happy to report that nothing in her beautiful house was broken! :) We got to see Carol, my sisters Catherine and Claire, and my Mom. A bonus treat was going to get to eat at Rosa's to celebrate birthdays. (Catherine's is on December 27th). The babies did really well in the car and also at Carol's house, and I think it's fair to say everyone got some exercise chasing the kids around! Here are a few shots from Austin.

We left Carol's house on Christmas Day so we could come back to Humble, have our little family Christmas here, and then unpack and reload the car to head to Bridge City to see Rob's side of the family. Our little family Christmas was fun - the babies got a trampoline for Christmas and they LOVE it. And we do too, because it is something fun for them to do, AND it wears them out! One of my favorite gifts I got for Rob was an electric shocking game. We actually brought it to Austin to see if anyone was crazy enough to play it, and my mom was. Only once! Here are a few shots from our Christmas.

A bag. Seriously? Why do we even buy them presents??

My super cool Batman shirt Rob got for me

And again. Why buy presents when a box is more entertaining??

We caught a smile!

And another one!

We left for Bridge City the day after Christmas, and got to visit with lots of family while we were there. We had our immediate family Christmas after lunch, and then had a big family Christmas with dinner. Of course, the babies got some great presents and they already love playing with them here at home.

Ah, the shocking game...

I like this one the best -- because this is usually what happened, in that, Rob pretty much always lost. Which is surprising because he had the most practice playing!

Once we left Bridge City, we had one more Christmas. We invited my Aunt Colette and Uncle Bill over along with my sisters Catherine and Carol who had come to town. They brought over some yummy BBQ for dinner, and cupcakes to celebrate our birthdays again.

Uncle Bill got a Howdy Doody DVD from us :)

And that's all, folks! It was definitely a very Merry Christmas, but we are happy to be home and plan to stay home for a little while after all of that traveling! Happy Holidays!
